We Offer a Range of Services to Meet Your Needs

WYE upholds the highest standards of accountability and quality in all aspects of our work. We are committed to adhering to industry regulations and safety protocols, ensuring that our projects are executed with precision and integrity.

C&S Works
(Civil & Structural Works)

In the context of a Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP), Civil and Structural works involve the construction and design of essential infrastructure such as the treatment tanks, clarifiers, sludge treatment units, and support buildings. It also includes the foundation work for heavy machinery, drainage systems, access roads, and structural elements that support the operation of the treatment facility. These works ensure the structural integrity and functionality of the STP, adhering to industry standards and environmental regulations..

Mechanical & Electrical Works, & Force Main Installation Works

Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) works in an STP include the installation and maintenance of pumps, blowers, aerators, mixers, mechanical screens, and other machinery critical to the sewage treatment process. It also covers the electrical systems powering the plant, such as control panels, motor control centers (MCC), SCADA systems, and backup power supplies. The force main installation refers to the laying of pressurized pipes that transport wastewater from various locations to the STP for treatment. This includes pipe laying, testing, and commissioning.

Refurbishment & Upgrading of Existing STP

This involves the modernization of outdated or underperforming sewage treatment facilities. Work can include replacing worn-out mechanical components, upgrading control systems to newer technologies (like advanced SCADA systems), expanding plant capacity, and improving treatment processes to meet current environmental standards and regulations. Refurbishment may also involve structural repairs, upgrading of aeration systems, and enhancing sludge management practices to increase efficiency and compliance with environmental regulations.

Sewerage Reticulation Works

Sewerage reticulation involves the installation and maintenance of pipelines and related infrastructure that transport wastewater from residential, commercial, and industrial sources to the STP. This includes laying out gravity pipelines, manholes, interceptors, and inspection chambers. It ensures that the sewerage system is properly designed to handle the flow and prevents blockages or overflows, while complying with local sewerage standards.

Maintenance Service of STP Including DOE Competent Person, SPAN License Class Application.

This refers to the routine servicing, repair, and operation of the STP to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards. Maintenance work includes regular inspection of mechanical and electrical systems, sludge management, and treatment process optimization. The service also includes the engagement of DOE (Department of Environment) competent persons, who are certified to oversee the environmental compliance of the plant. The application for a SPAN (Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara) license class is also handled, ensuring that all operations comply with national water service laws and regulations.

Consultancy Services (iwk pdc 1-8, hazop study, EIA, EMP, EMR, water hammer analysis)

Consultancy services cover a wide range of technical and environmental evaluations, including:

  •  IWK PDC 1-8: Refers to design and technical standards provided by Indah Water Konsortium (IWK) for the construction and operation of STPs.

  • HAZOP Study: A hazard and operability study to identify potential risks in the STP design and operational procedures.

  • EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment): A detailed analysis of the potential environmental effects of the STP, required for regulatory approval.

  • EMP (Environmental Management Plan): A structured plan outlining how environmental impacts will be managed during and after construction.

  • EMR (Environmental Monitoring Report): Ongoing environmental monitoring to ensure compliance with approved guidelines and minimize environmental harm.

  • Water Hammer Analysis: An analysis to assess and prevent pressure surges within piping systems, ensuring the integrity of pipelines in the force main system.

Supply Sales & Installation Mechanical Item for STP/IPS

This involves the procurement, sale, and installation of essential mechanical components used in STPs and Intermediate Pumping Stations (IPS). Items include pumps, valves, mixers, aerators, blowers, screens, and other machinery necessary for the sewage treatment process. The work includes delivering high-quality mechanical equipment, ensuring proper installation, testing, and commissioning, along with after-sales support and maintenance services to guarantee the long-term functionality of the STP.
